So I went wheeling again the weekend, and lost another wheel.

The seasoned off-roader knows the importance of a true beadlock wheel.

A beadlock or bead lock is a mechanical device that secures the bead of a tire to the wheel of a vehicle. Tires and wheels are designed so that, when the tire is inflated, the tire pressure pushes the bead of the tire against the inside of the wheel rim so that the tire stays on the wheel and the two rotate together. In situations where tire pressure is insufficient to hold the bead of the tire in place, a beadlock is needed.

I am looking at Rhino’s range. Does anyone have experience with them?

        Hi Derek

I myself have no experience with black rhino wheels, but a mate of mine has them we have been out a few times and held the tire well, they advertise that they make them stronger that normal wheels and I can vouch that they are very strong we were driving on very rocky terrain and he knocked his wheel very hard on a rock which took a little chunk out of the aluminium bead lock ring but he had no leaks or damage in terms of bending or cracks. So I would say that they are a really good quality wheel and they also look very good
