I think you are going to battle to find upgrades for the VK45DE engine. Anything you do to that engine will have to be custom parts. If you are looking for rods and pistons for that engine you can maybe contact Cosworth in USA or UK as they may be able to help with custom parts. The easiest way to make good power out of the VK45DE engine is to supercharge or turbocharge it. If you run 0.3 to 0.4 var boost with a supercharger you can get about 450Hp on the crank. More than that boost and you will bend rods. You will see in my blog posts the I have pushed a VK45DE to 700Hp and 850Nm torque just by lowering the compression of the engine by machining the heads and pistons and running a 3.3liter/rev supercharger.
