I have found that Nissan VK45DE engine has a lot of potential. Supercharging the engine just makes it so much better. With a standard bolt on supercharger kit you can get around 450Hp out of this engine reliably. This is with 0.3 bar to 0.4 bar boost. Do not exceed this boost as you will bend rods. To run higher boost the compression ratio on the engine needs to be dropped. We have built a Supercharged VK45DE that makes 700Hp and 850Nm of torque on the flywheel. This was a serious piece of machinery. Enough torque to put a smile on any ones face.
